CIDPF Referral Partner Program Terms

Version 2026-08-17-v1

Draft for legal/compliance review: These website program terms should be reviewed by CIDPF's legal/compliance counsel before production use, including any state-specific rules governing referral compensation for commercial financing and insurance-related referrals.

1. Program

Eligible insurance brokers, agencies and other approved commercial referral sources may enroll in the CIDPF Referral Partner Program and refer prospective business clients to CIDPF. All clients must apply directly through CIDPF's Apply Now process.

2. Referral Attribution

Each enrolled Referral Partner receives a unique referral code and referral link. A referral is attributed to a Referral Partner when the code is captured through the referral link or entered on the client's application and accepted by CIDPF. CIDPF may correct attribution errors in its records when appropriate.

3. Referral Fee

Unless CIDPF states otherwise in writing, the current referral fee is $100 for each qualifying referred client whose financing transaction is actually funded. No fee is earned solely for an introduction, application, approval, or unfunded transaction. CIDPF may change the program or referral fee prospectively upon notice or publication of revised terms.

4. No Authority to Bind CIDPF

Referral Partners may describe CIDPF generally and direct prospective clients to CIDPF, but may not make commitments, guarantees, credit decisions, financing representations, or promises on CIDPF's behalf.

5. Client Relationship and Privacy

Referral Partners should not transmit client financial documents or nonpublic client financial information to CIDPF unless specifically authorized and legally permitted. Clients should provide their information directly through CIDPF's application process.

6. Eligibility and Compliance

Participation and referral payments are subject to applicable law and CIDPF eligibility rules. CIDPF may decline, suspend, or terminate participation where a referral payment is prohibited, restricted, creates a conflict, or otherwise presents legal, compliance, fraud, reputational, or operational concerns.

7. Independent Relationship

Participation does not create an employment, agency, joint venture, fiduciary, franchise, or legal partnership relationship. Each Referral Partner is responsible for its own business expenses, licenses, registrations, disclosures, and taxes.

8. No Guarantee of Financing

CIDPF is not obligated to approve or fund any referred client. Approval, funding availability, rates, and terms are determined by participating funding providers and applicable underwriting requirements.

9. Fraud and Abuse

CIDPF may withhold or reverse referral credit or payment where CIDPF reasonably determines that a referral is duplicate, self-generated in violation of program rules, fraudulent, misleading, manipulated, or otherwise abusive.

10. Payment Administration

CIDPF may require tax documentation or reasonable payment information before issuing a referral fee. Referral Partners are responsible for taxes associated with payments they receive.

11. Program Changes and Termination

CIDPF may modify or discontinue the program prospectively. Referral Partners may stop participating at any time. CIDPF may suspend or terminate a Referral Partner's participation for legal, compliance, fraud, abuse, reputational, or operational reasons.

12. Terms Acceptance and Records

By checking the acceptance box and submitting the enrollment form, the Referral Partner agrees to the version of these terms identified above. CIDPF may retain records of the acceptance date, time, terms version, referral code, source attribution, and related technical audit information.

13. Commercial Purpose

The program is intended for referrals involving commercial and business-purpose financing only. No consumer or personal-purpose financing referrals are permitted.
